Singing Sensation

My seven year old nephew had been the star in singing competitions. Young as he is, the kid has a very good singing prowess! Many are amazed with the way he sings. Well, his dad and his mom sings well, maybe that’s why. Anyway, the other day,We are so proud of him while he sang proudly the national anthem in his little tuxedo. He was invited to sing in a special concert by a local artist. Every one has applauded after his performance, which is weird because it’s the national anthem!? Lol!

Weekend walk

Last weekend hubby and I walked around the town just to have an exercise. The weather was also good and so we went. We passed by the church and the old school which hubby remember his grade school. Along the way he narrated to me that school building was abandoned before because of some asbestos and the fear of mesothelioma health problems. The school was closed for a year and they went to the neighboring towns to attend school. Today that old school is used already as appartments.

Sunday affair

Last Sunday was the town festival of our neighboring town and we went that afternoon at the market place. There were a lot of booths on display including a new shop to be open soon. They even gave us a free personalized water bottles where their shop's logo in it. What a nice way to promote a shop. The festival was fun too with lots of people around enjoying the music, dances and foods too. I also enjoyed the rummage market along the streets that I found old books and antiques painting. We ended the day for a great dinner at our favorite restaurant in town.

Weekend visitors

My best friend came to visit us last weekend since they have a family affair at our neighboring town. Her son is my godchild and he is already a big boy compare to the last time we met. He was so smart that he thanked me for his gift, a kind of PS3 which he received last Christmas. We had a lot of talks to with my friend since its been along time we did not meet. I have learned that the company we used to work have new management and she was promoted. I am happy for her that her dream came true.
