The dinner

Today, I went home early because my friend was coming over for dinner. My friend, who had been in the US for almost six years now, is in town. We were in college when their immigrant visa for US was approved. Together with her family, she migrated to US and continued her college degree there. My friend is now a practicing nurse and in town for a month long vacation. She just arrived the other day and I went to see the next day. Her aunt hosted a welcome party for her and invited all her friends. It was like a reunion among college and high school friends. We had so many memories to reminisce – almost all are funny memories.
