New kitchen

My mom was telling me before that she wanted a new kitchen. We went before scouting for new kitchen design and their prices. My mom didn’t find any one of her taste and so we waited for sale and discount kitchens. Last week my mom found in an advertising flyers this kitchen with undermount kitchen sinks. The price was quiet affordable and so we visited the shop and arranged a schedule to measure mom’s kitchen. We are excited especially mom of her new kitchen soon. I think this time it would be bigger since my mom decided to have an open kitchen on the dining room.

New home

My sister in law and her family are moving next month to their new home and I am hoping that they will have new furniture. I am expecting to have then their French furniture but sad to say they still need it.

Anyway, we are all helping them packing their things and by tomorrow they are ready for truck pick up. I am happy for them that finally they have their own house now and they can have big savings from not renting anymore. The house is with mortgages but they can say it their own and it is more comfortable. I am looking forward to their house warming since we will have a surprise party for them.

In life

I heard the news about the fire which destroyed the house of a local star in here. Good thing there were no people harm from the incident. Maybe they have also sentry safe in their house that their important belonging were safe. That is only material things as they say and they can again avail new home and things. What important is they were all safe and in good condition. Moments like this in life are the things we are not prepared for and so one must always be careful all the time.

Weekend plan

Last week, I plan to rearrange our pantry room and wish to put up food storage cabinets in it. I spend the yesterday afternoon cleaning the room and sorting out old things too. Next week I will go to visit the furniture shop to buy the cabinets. I am excited with the finish outcome of my plan which I think very practical and economical too specially on my budget. I just want an organized room so I can see immediately what I am looking for since I am already messy in nature. Lol!

Happy ♥'s Day

Last weekend after the outdoor lighting fixtures at home, we went out to dine and celebrated the heart's day in advance. We didn’t have any gifts for each other we are contented with the love we have for each other every day of our lives. Love as they say is a day-to-day living, taking time, making time to be there, with open arms and a giving heart. Let's all celebrate heart's day, remember the people we love especially our family, friends and love one another now and always. Happy Heart's Day to all!

Saturday with mom

Last Saturday, my mom and I scouted for a new kitchen faucet for her house since she don like anymore the old one. Good thing hubby was with us and he knows well about that. My mom bought what she like mot and when we arrive home, hubby changed the faucet. We had also a great Saturday spending the day at my mom's place and of course the dinner too was really sumptuous. We went home before midnight with lots of pack foods too.

There was light

I have heard that there was a maxim lights sale on town and I am planning to visit the shop this week. I wanted to change our dinning poor lightings which from the very start I really don’t like it. I hope I can get a useful one that can last for a lifetime. If also I can find a lot of sale items I will buy wall sconces and lamps too for our bedroom. I think I will already go right now and see you later.

House visit

I visited last weekend my friend's house since they have renovated their living room last autumn. I was amazed with their new living room specially the plantation shutters that looks really elegant. Their Christmas decorations are also magical and I really like the house new look. My friend is also very happy that her wish was granted just what she likes for. I also like the bake apple cake during our coffee time and the black tea which are very perfect together.

Good ventilation

When we had our bathroom renovation we didn’t forget to have a bathroom fans to avoid molds forming in it. Molds are very dangerous to health especially when you inhale them that can lead to fatal. To avoid mold in our house we should always have good air ventilation by opening the windows everyday for ten minutes. During winter never leave the room without the heater open even on the lowest scale that makes the good room ventilation.

Alarm

When I visited my sister at her house, I was surprise to experience her new driveway alarm. She installed the alarm just recently when she saw her neighbor installing one. They had a chat and she ended up letting her neighbor install it. I was asking how much it cost her but she doesn’t want to tell me. Maybe it’s expensive. She knows I am going to react negatively again. But anyway, I was amused with the alarm. It was fun to play with it. LOL!
