Family getaway

We booked for a resort this thursday for the father's day. The place is very nice which was recommended by my friend. The pool is great with night pentair led pool light which is so nice during night swimming. This would be a weekend getaway for the whole family to celebrate dad's day. We have a lot of plans including a grilling night with drinking too. We have a small surprise for dad and I hope he will like it and also the weekend getaway. I think we will do the same on mother's day too.

New work place

I visited my friend in her new work and I was amaze with the new building in the city. The interior design is super including the Indoor Fountains. I remember the famous hotel in Dubai with this kind of interior. Anyway, my friend was at home with his new work, her colleagues are all nice to her and she loves so much her new work room. She invited me in their cafeteria which we enjoyed our chat over a cup of coffee.

Great party

I attended a birthday party last time held in a hotel and I admired the venue very much. I find the water features on the wall very amazing. I have thought of putting to in my living room. The feeling of watching the water fall and the sound of the waters is very grandiose. Anyway, the party was great too and I enjoyed meeting new people for the first time. I also didn’t miss the surprised gift of the celebrant that is to see her long time best friend.

Garden work

Now that it’s raining for almost a week, our lawn garden grasses have grown so high by now. As I am telling it to my husband, he said he need to use a kind of snapper mowers already. As I remember we haven’t mowed the yard before the rainy days so it's difficult already with the manual lawn mower.

I hope there will be enough sunshine and it is hubby's day off we can start cleaning our garden. I wanted also some renovation on it but we have a lot of work first inside the house so maybe we can pursue with the plan next year.

Outdoors

I was visiting my sister’s house yesterday when a delivery of patio furniture arrived. My sister finally said yes t her husband’s wish that they organize their patio and put some garden or so on their front yard. My sister didn’t want to because she said it’s hard to maintain especially that she does all the household chores and attends to her family’s needs. But since their children had grown, she needed something to be busy about. I was the first one to see the plan for the landscape and designs of their outdoors. I am pretty sure it would be nice.
